"KanbanFlow is a Lean project management tool allowing real-time collaboration between team members. Supports the Pomodoro technique for time tracking." I agree. This is absolutely user friendly with nice UI. Probably the best Kanban tool on the web. www.kanbanflow.com

Tykoon is probably the best family finance management application currently available on the web. It teaches "kids about personal finance and financial literacy using chore charts, savings goals, and parent-controlled charity donations and shopping". Find it here: http://tykoon.com/index.html

We just stumbled across a new tool that’s designed to incorporate live tweets into your presentation. What could be better than that? While these tweets may not all be perfect and some may not be professional / appropriate, it’s a great tool to know about...

I've found a very funny startup. With itoldyall.com you can send a scheduled message to your Facebook friends. You can predict, warn etc. them of something that will happen in the future. And if it comes true, you can say: 'I told you so'.

We all know that the most successful like-collecting campaign on Facebook is when a brand promises to give donation in exchange for likes on its page. A very primitive way of like-gathering though an effective one. This model is behind the idea of Glazeon.com. They introduce a new button, the cupcake bitton. Each click means a small donation from a big brand to a certain charity. Thus Glazeon promise engaged fans to brands, money to charities and moral reconciliation to those who are too lazy to do good.

wifis.org is a social, non-profit project which enables people to write an email to a Wi-Fi. Sound strange, but is very innovative and useful in order to ask the owner of a Wi-Fi for access or to simply say Hello. This way people can earn a bit of extra money by sharing their Wi-Fi or get in touch with (so far) unknown neighbors. All free and anonymous.

Launchgram.com is a simple website where you can follow upcoming product releases, keep updated and be alerted when you can buy. It is a greta tool for marketeers and companies to create some buzz and engagement around new services. But if you want a more sophisticated tool, try Zapaday.com, which is one of the best new websites out there.

The Russian-Indian joint venture Knoema is a knowledge platform. As they put it, "the basic idea is to connect data with analytical and presentation tools. As a result, we end with one uniformed platform for users to access, present and share data-driven content." You can search here tons of data either in table or visualized format. This site is very useful.

PeopleRooms is meant to be "a place to communicate in rooms as real life." You can create your own virtual chatrooms, share files, have video conference, collaborate with colleagues, etc. Peoplerooms offers you much. Too much. Though it seems the developers wanted to create the perfect place on the web, the too many became too complicated. The UI definitely needs some upgrading before Peoplerooms can attract crowds of users. Anyway, I appreciate the developers's original idea.

Ensemba is the latest news streamer service that is based on content curated by people. With its nice and simple user interface, it is a great challenger to Scoop.it - though it works a bit differently. You can "like" the curated news items and the software learns your preferences over time - just like in Zite. Find it here: http://beta.ensemba.com/

I am very much into data analytics in social media these days. So when I accidentally bumped into Flumes I immediatelly tested it. And I was amazed. With Flumes you can follow news and events that interest you, gather data on any news item and get quick quantitative and qualitative analyses. You can also use it for news curation. UI and the visualization of data is of highest quality - I especially liked the "timeline" feature. I definitely recommend this site. http://www.flumes.com

Livemyjourney.com stands out from the crowd of travel websites. It has a social twist and a Pinterest-like UI. It"s like a travel content curation site with tons of photos. Certainly it is not as informative as Tripadvisor or as useful as Wanderfly but it can become a hit among travellers. Try it!

diy.org is a fantastic website. It is a kind of Etsy for kids. Children can create their own portfolio pages where they upload and production of their creativity. They can share the portfolio with other kids, rate each other with funny badges. Really nice. As a father of a 6-year-old I can strongly recommend it to other parents.

I was staring at Brassique.com's website when I saw it for the first time. The outlook and the concept is really unique. You see a website with Victorian graphic design and texts with oldfashioned English - I thought to myself that these guy can create hell of an atmosphere. Brassique is otherwise a place where you can "buy, sell, swap, share and promote delectable and collectable goods, handmade items and skills" with tokens. It's in beta, launch is scheduled in June and beta invite costs 5 pounds.

Matchpuppy.com is a dating site for dogs living in New York. Dog-owners create profile pages of their pets hoping to find another dog for playing or dating. You can also search other dogs based on the parks in New York. I think this site is more a dating site for lonely dog-owners...

I was one of the first to get access to the beta of leemail.me, a new service that helps keep your privacy when subscribing to newsletters. Leemail.me is an excellent service. It provides you with an e-mail through which you can receive your newsletters without giving out your original e-mail address. You will never miss the important newsletters while Leemail makes it easy and comfortable to unsubscribe or get rid of annoying newsletters. So instead of creating two-three-four email accounts to protect your privacy, you are secure to use your e-mail address for everything. If the developers at Leemail will give users the possibility to use leemail for registration it will be the favourite service for many.

Involvio is an application that helps users find out what's happening at the school. Yes, high school cheerleaders, unite! With Involvio they can share events (aka parties), look around what's going on, where everybody else (aka the blond soccer player) is going.
