According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, in 2012 based on self-reported BMI, 63 per cent of Australian males are overweight or obese.


And Australian women? 48 per cent are overweight or obese. It's no longer a schoolyard taunt; it's a health fact – the girls are faring better than the boys, and it's time to do something about it.
