donhornsby's curator insight, December 12, 10:03 AM

(From the article): Instead of walking through your busy schedule everyday not seeing what goes on around you, try to look at the world from a different perspective. You can use this information as content for your blog posts and social media updates.

This doesn’t mean that you have to constantly be online every second, it simply means looking and thinking how you can integrate social media in your daily life.

Jeroen Lugtigheid's curator insight, December 15, 3:59 AM

Jeroen Lugtigheid's curator insight, December 22, 6:46 AM

Study Sheds New Light On 'Dark' Social, Finds Consumers Underestimate Their Own Behavior 2-to-1 | Social media news | Scoop.it
Nearly a third (32%) of consumers who share content with other people digitally say they do it via so-called "dark social" channels such as email, SMS or other peer-to-peer platforms that are not as
easy to see and monitor as so-called "light social" networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. The self-reported findings, which come from a survey of more than 9,000 consumers in
October by Tpoll, are interesting, because they indicate consumers are greatly underestimating their actual use of dark social channels when compared with actual behavioral tracking of content
sharing.
