8 Tips For Managing A #SocialMedia Crisis

8 Tips For Managing A #SocialMedia Crisis | Social Media Marketing for Small Biz | Scoop.it

The key word in social media is social.

As such, it’s a two-way game. Brands and businesses that use channels such as Twitter and Facebook to simply broadcast their message rarely get the sort of results they would expect. Fans and customers want and demand to be heard, and brands that carefully nurture these relationships benefit from higher engagement levels, boosts in website traffic and sales, strong word of mouth marketing and customer loyalty.

But sometimes, despite our best efforts, things go wrong. So what do you do when the worst happens?...

This article is very timely, as I have been working on a logo design for http://PhilosBooks.com, which will be shown on the website very soon. Please let me know what you think once you take a look at it!

As an author, you are a brand whether you like that fact or not. If you have a logo that pops, and every time people see it, they will think of you, you are ahead of the game. Make sure it is relevant, eye-catching, and brands you and your books. You can then place that logo on every single one of your book covers.

As the internet continues to grow, physical interaction becomes less and less of a priority. These screenshots from a normal twitter account shows that getting to know someone, without really knowing them, is as easy as a click of a mouse. Tweeters volunteer information about themselves which allows others a cheat sheet into their lives.
