This could be a useful tool for journalists and media managers to understand changing audience behaviour and respond accordingly. Many are writing about this as a marketing tool, but I see it of value to those producing content, too.

It seems a useful tool. Free of charge to download, use and upload material but check the copyright notices on the Terms and Conditions to check who owns what and when that changes. I mailed them asking whether there was a Creative Commons option for those more interested in reach rather than revenue and the answer was "for the moment we do not support the CC license model, although situation can change in the future." Would be a good option to add.

Great functionality but the design and presentation need a wholesale makeover and presentation options for enjoyable reading. Otherwise I'm not sure readers won't get bored and go elsewhere. Thanks for sharing it.

Hi Jeff, agreed. I also noticed that if I use the tablet version I can't quote directly from an article. I seem to have to grab the url from my browser, move over to the app, paste it in and do it that way round. Too many steps. (perhaps I am doing something wrong). Also, I would like to be able to add a bit more context around the collection. I have raised a few points in the piece (linked to above).

Just blogged about this in the hope of attracting some comments from journalists who have tried it for news gathering. http://www.mediahelpingmedia.org/blog/share-your-spundge-content-collaboration-experiences/
