A tool for sifting through data to find information. Could be useful to journalists trying to understand data mining and data journalism.

I have also added this to the Data Mining for Journalists curation site on Scoop.it

Thanks for including Audioboo in your toolkit. I'm glad that you find it useful. I've just joined the team here and I'm an avid user of the app myself. It's great for recording short interviews, reports and atmos while on the move.

You can record 5 minutes of audio from a smartphone (or upload from your computer), add a picture, title, tags and geolocation data then set it to automatically post to your blog, Twitter or Facebook account. There are pro features being developed for businesses and media organisations and we've already had Al Jazeera and The Guardian use it from the front line North Africa.

Audio is a powerful tool and we're trying to make sound social. Follow us on Twitter @Audioboo and say hello. I'm happy to help with any questions you might have.

Happy boo-ing!
Kate
