Could be a fantastic tool for journalism research, newsgathering and contacts building. Have a play and see what comes up. Impressive. You get a limited number of free searches a day and there is an option for a seven day free trial. For quick searches the free options should do.
This looks like a Q & A tools set up for marketing, but there could be interesting uses for journalism and research. I am trying it out. Any experiences please share as comments.

Just signed up for Listgeeks "a socially-oriented platform for creating, sharing and comparing lists of things." Looks like it could be useful for crowd-sourcing good stuff and then sharing. Will give it a try and use in training to assess its worth.

From the site "Diigo is a powerful research tool and a knowledge-sharing community" Has similarities to Goozy but also enables you to capture and store webpages in the cloud, so if they disappear you still have a record. I've been playing with this tool but yet to publish anything with it. I like the way it imports documents and images on to the whiteboard and then you can draw and write around the assets, publish, share and embed. Will test in a blog when I get time. Wondering if the company is still operating, though. Last tweet was the middle of last month and last forum discussion was some time ago. Also, the how-to video isn't working. The product looks good.
