Infographic: The 4 Steps to Social Media Marketing | social media infographics and typography | Scoop.it

“ One of Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is to Begin with the End in Mind.”This infographic does just that – recognizing that you need to establish your goals first when looking to your social media marketing strategy. It doesn’t simply speak about conversions – it speaks to the other business uses of social media: Brand Marketing, Thought Leaderhsip, Service and Sales Prospecting. Much of the strength of social media doesn’t come from the immediate push… it’s the echos and volume that are established over time.

As an educationist I have often come across Maslow's pyramid of needs, and have observed how planning of many kinds need to take into consideration the hierarchy of needs in the target audience. Marketing too is about planning  based on an understanding of needs and requirements of the client base.

Eye Tracking 101: How Your Eyes Move on a Website

Eye Tracking 101: How Your Eyes Move on a Website | social media infographics and typography | Scoop.it

Engage website visitors better by designing your site to match how people's eyes move on the page. Here are some surprising eye tracking stats to help.

Putting together a great looking website is a great start, but it is just a start.

True web design requires you to venture beyond the aesthetic and into the worlds of User Experience and Conversion Rate Optimization.

Knowing how the viewers of your site really see it can help to shine light on new and/or missed opportunities within your current design. It may also bring out the need for new elements or changes.

While there are plenty of options for improving CRO, eye tracking analysis provides some of the most useful information for optimizing your biggest digital marketing asset, your website.

A good design will catch people’s eye, but a great design will keep people on your site and get them engaged with your content. And while you shouldn’tunderestimate the power of good copy, your design is what people notice first.

We teamed up with our friends over at Single Grain to put together the infographic below in hopes that it will help everyone get a better, basic understanding of what eye tracking is and what it can do.

Starting a blog has never been easier — but with all the social media, CMSs and techie lingo out there, it can be a tough path to navigate at first.

One of the most important things you’ll need to do as a blogger is to constantly remind yourself to stay true to your own voice. It’s easy to get caughtup in the blogging world and to lose yourself, but the best and most successful blogs are passion projects that ring true to the fired up blogger behind them.

For example, The US economic status is High Class at $12195 or more for most of the East and West Coast and then it is dull in the middle. These facts compared to South America where they are mostly upper middle class at around $3946-12185 and a portion of them are the lower middle class which rings in at around $886-3945.

Guide to Social Media Advertising: Infographic

Guide to Social Media Advertising: Infographic | social media infographics and typography | Scoop.it

With social media ad revenues expected to grow to $11 billion dollars by the year 2017, social advertising has become a huge topic of interest amongst marketers.  In fact, Facebook alone is expected to make close to $1 billion from its mobile ad revenue in 2013, according to the latest estimates.

Social media is fast becoming a bigger part of the ad buying efforts of brands and agencies across the globe, and for good reason. As Salesforce Marketing Cloud VP Peter Goodman notes, “Social ads reach the audience in which you’ve invested a lot of money and time into nurturing.  You can see which audiences are engaging the most, so you can ensure that your ads are being bought correctly and you’re actually growing your fan base based on true data.”

Thanks for this, most interested in the predictions about real people feature inncreasigly in content, it reads somewhat ironically doesn'tit with all the social interactions everyone is engaged upon?

I am pondering whether its more about authenticity that underpins the real people and events and havig something that actually connects emotionally as well as logically as more than a conversion click?

In the UK there has been a real swing in mainstream xmas advertising led by an upmarket Department store chain called John Lewis, the others have tried to copy but they have not done it as well. The Ad hardly mentions the brand or the product and the feature is a costly animation. Interesting to see such emotive content and everyone is talking about it around the Xmas campaigns. Guess its a bit resonant with the Apple Think Different Ads. So how Companies trnslate that into streams of online content that fit the overall Brand Strategy is going to be interesting...

Theres a post about Facebook's Compassion and Content Strategy Teams and how they are researching and refining dealing with annoying content, may seem off-track but in terms of the future of Content Marketing understanding how not to endup with users tuning out may well be key? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/12/16/facebook-compassion_n_4441716.html strikes me that in business content we will face similar and significant challenges in the battle against the white noise even more so now Facebook say theya re carefully rolling out auto play video ads the bane of most users and the price they pay for a free platform...

Food for thought thanks again!

HOW SCOOP IT CHANGED MY SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING STRATEGY BY ACCIDENT

As I began this process of building my "brand" .. creating my online image and my professional presentation, I had a lot to figure out.  I created my first website, facebook and Linked In account.  I made the decision to "market" myself a Lite Feet dancer, if you read my bio it is one of the accomplishments in my life for which I am very proud.  The problem there was no single source of information of LITE FEET DANCE.   My introduction to Scoop It was perfect timing, it gave me an opportunity to create a LITE FEET SCOOP -- I had been dancing since I was 14 and I had come to know all the founders and the main Lite Feet websites, the history of Lite Feet dance,  the multitude of YouTube Channels, websites, facebook pages and Lite Feet Sound Cloud accounts, and I felt a great responsibility to curate and create the first and only LITE FEET SCOOP.  Creating this scoop gave me a link to provide as a reference to my own "LIte Feet Dancer" identity but also was a unique opportunity to curate, what I believe to be, an important, relevent and for the most part unnoticed dance phenom and YouTube Sensation that is  Lite Feet Dance.  My efforts to high lite the incredible talent of these young dancers has been an honor and I will continue to add to scoop as new content becomes available.

DLite Scoops Lite Feet Dance:

http://www.scoop.it/t/lite-feet-dance ;

I then created several other relevent scoops for my story, and I created them in the hopes that sharing my journey would hopefully help others with similar journeys.
