Les terminaux mobiles sont aujourd'hui largement utilisés lorsqu'il s'agit d'organiser son voyage, et de partager ses impressions une fois sur place. La majorité des français ne se séparent pas de leur mobile pendant leur voyage.

 

33% des Français interrogés dans le cadre d'un sondage réalisé par TripAdvisor déclarent avoir déjà utilisé leur appareil mobile pour organiser un voyage, 70% l'utilisent quand ils sont en vacances, que ce soit en France ou à l'étranger, et 30% déclarent même ne pas pouvoir vivre sans leur appareil mobile en vacances.

 

En vacances, le premier usage d'un appareil mobile est de pouvoir communiquer par téléphone, pour 78% des personnes interrogées, ou par Internet, pour 44%, mais également pour s’en servir en tant qu’appareil photo (35%). 71% avouent toutefois ne jamais se connecter à Facebook durant cette période. En outre, 57% des Français interrogés déclarent utiliser leur terminal pour prendre et partager des photos, 38% pour la navigation et 24% pour prendre des notes.

 

Haro sur les frais d’itinérance

Si les Français restent donc accros à leur mobile même en vacances, la plus grande frustration reste les frais d’itinérance (51%) et la connexion par intermittence (32%). Pour éviter les mauvaises surprises, 64% des sondés français éteignent généralement les services de données en itinérance lorsqu’ils voyagent à l’étranger à cause de leur coût mais 33% ont néanmoins déjà reçu une facture très élevée inattendue suite à l’usage de leur appareil mobile à l’étranger.

 

Cette étude a été conduite auprès de 5.144 Européens (France, Royaume-Uni, Italie, Allemagne et Espagne) dont 750 Français, du 30 mars au 13 avril 2012.
