With the introduction how brands use video has become more complex BUT i still dont think brands can go past well thought out channels that offer value to their viewers as a way to engage with your target audience. Case in point the Johnson & Johnson health channel.http://www.youtube.com/user/JNJhealth

My take on this is leave the paid channel to the content professionals and depending how advanced you are with your video program producing premium content with other partners to ofer real value & high production standards is the way to go.
