Very geeky. For the most part you would not be caught wearing one of those but the idea that these glasses exist may trigger an idea for an application in a business setting, where wearing something dorky isn't an issue when you are paid for it ;-)

10 Outrageous Tweets That Got People Fired - ODDEE | social media | Scoop.it

From the math teacher who tweeted about getting high to the Taco Bell employee who was fired for urinating on nachos, check out the tweets that got these 10 people fired.

1. The Math Teacher Who Tweeted About Getting High

In January 2013, Carly McKinney, a 10th grade math teacher at Overland High School in Aurora, Colorado, was put on administrative leave. A local news station uncovered tweets containing revealing photos and boasts about bringing marijuana to school. One post read, "Naked. Wet. Stoned," while another said, "Watching a drug bust go down in the parking lot. It's funny 'cuz I have weed in my car in the staff parking lot." Other messages suggested that the teacher was grading papers while under the influence of drugs and spending time on Twitter instead of being productive during the school day.

9 Apps for Creating Multimedia Content

9 Apps for Creating Multimedia Content | social media | Scoop.it

Until a few years ago designing an attractive presentation, or any other form of multimedia content, required expert designers. You first had to explain your idea to the designer who would then spend hours in isolation, using complex tools and software, to turn them into reality. Most of the times, however, you would still go away dissatisfied with the final product.

However, this is no more the case thanks to different online tools available freely on the internet. Using these tools, you can create multimedia content in a matter of minutes. You no longer need to explain your brains out to a designer who would still prefer following his own ideas. There’s also no need for any complex applications and prior designing knowledge.
