Very intriguing indeed.

Ivon Prefontaine's curator insight, May 12, 9:33 PM

We should talk about being happy, and, more importantly, we should express our happiness through our interests as teachers and people. It signals to others, including students, how we are who we are.

There seems to be lots of room for libraries and librarians to interject their skill sets with these 7 shifts, especially in the areas of digital literacy, research literacy, physical-to-digital, connectivism... My biggest takeaway, though, is the idea that none of these ideas require a huge influx of funding - they can all be done tomorrow with concerted effort in the education community.
