The Israel Longhorn Project will be using “Stockmanship and Range Health”
Stockmanship is the science of cattle herd movement without force or stress on the animals. By understanding the body space of animals we can move cattle calmly and quietly with little effort. As in humans all animals have body space. Each of you has experience this when someone has move to close to you when speaking making you uncomfortable and you move away to your comfortable zone. You learn to stay in your comfortable zone. That is what we will teach to the cattle to stay in their comfortable zone and to moving cattle toward it with “Pressure and Release”. Cattle that are moved this way are “Happy” and appear to enjoy moving. We can use this method to prevent over-grazing and over-resting. This means managing periods that plants are grazed and allowing adequate recovery time for both plants and soils. This is and supports “Holistic” ranching and supports the environment. You can find us at: Israel Longhorn Project; Robin Rosenblatt; 815 Hill St Apt 5; Belmont, Ca 94002; 650.631.9270; robin@longhornproject.org or <http://longhornproject.org> We are a 501c 3 nonprofit.

Building brands is a lot like leaving legacies. What does it mean? Do we have the luxury of thinking we have that much control or will there be features that allow us to be dishonest with brand building?

Boy are these kids going to be mad at their parents by the time they're 20-somethings... "Why didn't you protect us?" they will ask. "Because we didn't know better," their parents will say.
Putting a kid on the internet without knowing anything about how cookies and cache and logins and TOSs work is like handing them a handgun or putting them behind the wheel of a running car and then leaving. Delete the scoop?

Therese Torris's comment,

I'd say SEO is dead, long live SEO ! There will always be a need for search and engines and search/discovery optimization in one form or another...
Martin (Marty) Smith's comment,

Therese is right. Until we plug in directly math will need to understand marketing and that means some level of technical SEO remains IMPORTANT.

Social media strategies devoid of risk management can lead to long days in the court room. Most businesses are not aware of the legal and reputational risks surrounding social media done poorly. Comments are welcome.
Ivon Prefontaine's curator insight,
May 21, 6:28 PM
"It’s been said that 85% of the people who work in social media have been in the industry for less than two years. I think it was LinkedIn who first suggested this, but it often explains why there is so much bad advice floating around, so many poorly devised strategic plans and so much money wasted on failed campaigns." We have serious problems because many are self-appointed leaders.
