Social media is a great way of helping individuals keep up with our politics. The social media keeps us aware because people will comment on something they have read, seen, or even heard dealing with news in general. So being associated with hashtags that will place you in a category where you can keep up with current events to you may be concerned with that deals with your country or even elsewhere, social media for me is the greatest way to go.
