Check out this article to discover 10 of the most powerful Twitter analytics and visualization tools so you can analyse and visualize your Twitter network!
Beth Kanter's insight:
Blog post with descriptions and screen captures of Twitter Analytics and Visualizaiton tools - After researching over a thousand Twitter Tools for the Twitter Tools Book I came across many tools that tried to add value by presenting a different way to visualize or analyze your tweets, the people in your network, and the tweets from the people in your network. Many tools tried to add value and failed. At least they tried. The following tools, however, stand out in my mind as exceptional or entertaining and I recommend you check them out if you want to analyze and visualize your activity on Twitter. Delete the scoop?

ReportGrid is a new web-service that allows any web publisher to create well-designed charts and graphs out of the traffic being recorded on his web pages and to easily publish them online.
Two critical items characterize this service:
1) Quality visualization of web analytics data
2) Tools to publish it online
In 2004 I wrote: "...Though I am aware of breaking out from the traditional approach to the use of Web server statistics, but I would strongly suggest independent publishers, reporters, bloggers and online journalists of all kinds, to make (a representative sample) of their log server stats publicly available.
...
My recommendation is: Make it completely transparent for everyone to see how well you are doing.
The more transparent you are, the more credible your information will be."

This is why I think Reportgrid is offering something that will be of increasing value in the near future.
Free and paid versions avalable.

Article from Melinda Gates about why measurement is important. Picks up on themes on Bill Gates Annual Letter
Bill and I are used to journalists calling us data nerds. Sometimes it's meant as a compliment, sometimes it's not, but we always take it in a positive way. At Microsoft, we analyzed mountains of data to make the best possible business decisions. We have tried to bring the same culture to our foundation. However, we've had to come to terms with the fact that in certain areas of global health, the data just aren't very good.
If we invest in better measurement, we will get a lot more impact out of all that courageous effort.
