If ignorance could save the world then the world would be a better place. Ignoring the effect that humans have on their environment is not the answer. Although I think you are correct that we cannot change nature but we should be no means contribute to it either. We have an opportunity to at least slow down global warming if we choice to and not just throw our hands up in the air and think that we are just victims of the world’s cruelties.

Aéroports de Paris (ADP) a mis en service une centrale photovoltaïque de 792 panneaux s'étendant sur 4000 m⊃2;. Objectif, produite écologiquement 157 MWh d'électricité qui seront directement injectés dans le réseau d'ADP. Un dispositif qui permettra une économie de 7 tonnes de CO2 par an. 

Alors qu'Aéroports de Paris entend envisage de réduire ses émissions de CO2 de 25% par rapport à 2009 et atteindre 15% d'énergies renouvelables dans ses consommations énergétiques internes, l'entreprise vient de lancer une centrale photovoltaïque. Dans le cadre de son plan stratégique 2011-2015, l'entreprise a ainsi mis en place une infrastructure composée de 792 panneaux répartis sur une surface de 4000 m⊃2;.

« Cette nouvelle réalisation, représentative de notre politique de Responsabilité Sociétale d'Entreprise, confirme notre ambition d'une relation durable et de la plus haute qualité avec nos parties prenantes », se félicite Didier Hamon, secrétaire Général d'ADP, en charge du développement durable.Il précise que « le travail de conception de cette "ferme solaire", mené en collaboration avec la Direction Générale de l'Aviation Civile a conduit à l'utilisation de panneaux polycristallins équipés d'un verre spécifique pour limiter la réflexion optique ». En 2012, Aéroports de Paris avait déjà ouvert une centrale au bois avec l'objectif d'assurer jusqu'à 25 % des besoins en chauffage de l'aéroport.
