There are many ordinary people doing extraordinary work to create social, environmental and economic value. Most of the time we know nothing about their great achievement wich deserves to be known. The SNASEA will be a three day event to showcase the ideas and products of social entrepreneurs. The award ceremony will be the culmination of activities around social entrepreneurship. All of them aim at recognizing and promoting those who create value for people, planet and profit and those who dare to become job creators instead of job seekers.

What is social entrepreneurship ?
Social entrepreneurship is the contribution of an innovative idea designed to solve a society's social problem: human, environment, ethic .... Social entrepreneurs primarily seek to generate "social value" rather than profit: to be “driven by the heart” is one of the major skills of a social entrepreneur. And unlike the majority of non-profit organizations, their work is targeted not only towards immediate, small-scale effects, but sweeping, long-term change. Built a sustainable company is a key directive for a social entrepreneur. As the private sector it has to be competitive but more "heart" than profite driven.
The last two decades have seen an explosion of entrepreneurship and a healthy competition in the social sector, which has discovered what the business sector learned from the railroad, the stock market and the digital revolution.
