Gamification is a good example of a project that's better driven by organizational change than by IT. Hey, they use computers, so it must be IT. News flash. Everyone uses computers nowadays.


Gamification is one way to motivate users, employees, customers, etc. to come together to solve a business question or desired outcome. Don’t start by looking for a problem to solve with gamification. Start by focusing on a business objective. Perform a business-focused critical analysis.


Involve the players in crafting the game. A company of hip, casino scenario. The goal is to change strategy and behaviors of your tarcreative 20-somethings may not be turned on by, for example, aget audience. Change shouldn’t be something that you do to others. If it’s worth undertaking the quest, it should be a collaborative journey.
