The Fastest Way To Lose Your $3 Million-A-Year Job? Have A No Email Policy

Breton’s policy depends on accepting the false premise that email is inherently tied to information overload and that by killing it the problem will rectify itself. In reality, it doesn’t matter which communication system you use, there will always be information overload if it isn’t managed properly.

Simpel eigenlijk, maar oh zo doeltreffend.

Is Social Business Innovation?

Social Business can lead to innovations—but it's inherently about doing business in a more connected, open, transparent, collaborative, ethical, and ultimately human way. All of which can affect the bottom line of your business. Sound innovative? Yes. The two are related, but not necessarily the same.

Logic+Emotion: Trust Shifts From Institutions To Individuals

Today I had the opportunity to present to academics and industry experts from the international poultry industry (you can listen to a re-cap via a short podcast from "Agwired" here). During the presentation I was able to share some results...

David Armano somt het even heel kort op, maar ik vind de "moves" niet zo spannend. De grootte van die moves echter wel. Nóg meer vertrouwen in de persoon naast je, en nog minder in de bazen van het land. Mooi!

The State of the Blogosphere 2011 - Brian Solis

When you think about social media, what do you envision? Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Foursquare? If you’re like me, blogs would have made the top of the list. But how can blogs survive in a time when the attention of connected consumers is not only precious, it’s elusive. After all, people can read no more than 140 characters at a time right? With the surplus of networks and a river of social activity that washes away personal information levees, how can we be anything but distracted?
