Walk AWAY in Your Value – The Go-Giver Way | Business in the Digital Era | Scoop.it

In this post by Certified Go-Giver Speaker/Coach and Ninja Selling Instructor, Dennis Giannetti, he takes a phrase we often use in terms of applying Go-Giver principles, “Walk In Your Value” and he provides a totally different angle. And, as is always the case with Dennis…he makes a LOT of sense.

Enjoy Dennis’ wisdom! – Bob Burg

Our researchers mainly follow the principles and rules laid down by the above important policy and rules.Under Articles 2.4, 3.6, 3.10&11, 8.1(b) of the By-laws of the Commission of the Churches on international affairs, we have posted our research report in United Nations Global Compact which containing of solving of problems between Christians, Jews, Muslims and Hindus in the world. In accordance with Articles 3.12 of the above By-Laws, it is a duty of commission of Churches to maintain and provide for the maintenance of contacts with International bodies such as the United Nations and its agencies include regional bodies and other non governmental Organisations, which will assist in the attainment of the aims of the Commission. The matter has being brought it to the notice of the World Churches Council and the Commission of the Churches asked its notice on the matter to the United Nations for your appropriate decisions. ?The World Churches Council Policy Paper on Social Justice and Common Goods is the best policy to the World peace and unity solutions, which has been published on 22 March 2011 and the same is in accordance with Psalm 85. The Church cannot succeed if it, isolates itself, Not only must Christians reach out to Muslims and other faiths in the spirit of ecumenism, but there is a need to embrace other people of different philosophical convictions. This requires ideological tolerance, maturity and self assurance in what one believes in. Such coalition building is made easier by choosing issues that unite organizations and movements and which have less potential causing divisions. At the same time we need an honest and inventive method of dealing with differences. The global movement for economic justice relies considerably on policy analysis and research conducted by hundreds if not thousands of academics researchers and scholars. ?Our consequences of the changing power relations in today's world is that there is more room in the public sphere for the affirmation of collective values and principles, experience proves that an informed public opinion can be powerful today, and can change governments public and international agendas. Again Churches are challenged to make use of this opportunity. They need to read the signs of time and to make their voices heard by responding to peoples cries for justice and dignity, and by speaking truth to the powers- whoever and wherever their may be. ?Christians do not have ready made answers and solutions to propose. The Bible offers guidelines (love, sharing, justice for the poor) but does not defined one "Christian" economy or "Christian" politics. ?Churches and Church related organizations can initiate public debates and largely use media means to reach a broader constituency, furthermore, regional thematic discussions can be facilitated with the ecumenical family. WCC should develop specific analysis depending on the context. ?What are theological implications for commodification common goods? ?How shall we ensure the participation all people in managing common goods in the world? ?How do we deal with power imbalances in the world? ?How can the ecumenical family engage itself effectively and in a coherent and convincing way in addressing global power imbalance? ?How can WCC lead a climate change campaign with social justice as a focus? ?What kind of collective values can be draw for the Churches to guide them in addressing the problem of commodification of common goods? ?The above questions have been answered in our research materials available at http://www.goldenduas.com and alsohttp://www.facebook.com/research of international development solutions and the same are to be discussed by the Churches, public and all its organizations in the interest of public safety, peace, unity, health, wealth, faith, interfaith ?                 Under this circumstances, it is just and necessary that UK, USA, Cambridge, Churches on the International Affairs are requested to accept our research paper and also our research organization as an organization under other faith category to assist the commission to achieve its goal of International Peace and climate changes solutions for the benefit of world community especially Christians, Jewish and Muslims, under the by-law 3.11 of CCIA. In view of the aforementioned submissions in the interest of maintenance of International Peace and Security, UN may be pleased to authorize our organization in the name and style of` Research on International Development Solutions `and also our research report in confirmatory with U/A 96 of the present Charter read with U/A 23 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and thus render Justice.  Now, Palestine Muslims are fighting with Israel , both countries are affected and innocent people are killed frequently which is against the Quranic verses 7:137 & 5:33 that no one can claim Israel Government areas which is a place of Israel People but not Muslim or Christian and they can only Allow worship in the Holy Places of Israel . These facts has not been Discussed for amicable solutions of social justice and common good by United Nations to respect Gods word . It is pertinent to note that why the jewish people are affecting the Muslims is mention the Quran 7:167 ? And the same should be taken into consideration by jewish people in the world in the interest of social justice and common good on the light of the research paper posted  at our website www.goldenduas.com and render justice.  Your successU. Some people still think that the only type of content that can demonstrate your expertise and show your thought leadership is the one you create.

If you're still thinking that, think again as the data has spoken.

David Dodd used to be one of them and he explains in this article why he changed his mind after analyzing results from several research studies focusing specifically on B2B marketing.

The research - based on an extensive of more than 400 B2B content consumers - highlights beyond any doubt that people simply don't trust vendor-created content.

The solution is probably not to stop creating anything: you have opinions and you can create strong original content. But more often then not, you'll be more convincing if you can publish curated content that supports your overall message.

(Which is what I just did by the way so let me know if you feel more convinced).

The Science of How Customers Buy Anything

The Science of How Customers Buy Anything | Business in the Digital Era | Scoop.it
Amy Melendez's insight:

From the article:

A basic tenet of running lean is validating a product or feature ideally without having to building it first.

-----

You have to understand your customers better than they even understand themselves.

-----

When Steve Jobs introduced the iPad, he didn’t tell us 10 new things we could do with the iPad, but rather showed us 10 old things we could do with the iPad – only much better.

So the right approach here isn’t redrawing the workflow or ignoring this inertia, but making the transition to your product as seamless as possible.

-----

The end result isn’t always a sale but commitment that gets your closer to turning that unaware visitor into a happy customer.

Working with Cognitive Load | B Online Learning Blog | Business in the Digital Era | Scoop.it

When I first started working as an eLearning instructional designer I became interested in the learning process and how people learn. I figured that if I knew more about information processing and learning, I could hopefully design more effective courses. I came across a book called Efficiency in Learning: Evidence-Based Guidelines to Manage Cognitive Load by Ruth Colvin Clark, Frank Nguyen and John Sweller. In this book I discovered, among other things, Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) which is based on studies of human cognitive architecture – how we process and organise information.

Is Integrity the Secret to Great Leadership?

Is Integrity the Secret to Great Leadership? | Business in the Digital Era | Scoop.it

The actions of a business are its value statement. Actions speak volumes about what really matters most – not what should matter, not what we wish mattered, but what really does matter to us. They swamp mission statements, speeches or memos, and they eclipse intentions.

Having the kind of integrity that leaves no room between what we say and what we do is really hard work. It’s much easier to follow the words of JR Ewing of the TV series Dallas, who said: “Once you lose your integrity, everything’s easy.” Lots of people have chosen this path. Others find it to be too much work to align their decisions and actions with what they claim as priorities.

Via Kenneth Mikkelsen, Roy Sheneman, PhD
Amy Melendez's insight:

From the article: If you force yourself to look at where you actually spend your time and what you do with your resources, you may notice an internal conflict arising. It will not revolve around what I think of as “level 1 integrity” – things like never lying, cheating or stealing. Instead, it will likely challenge your “level 2 integrity” – the kind that has to do with not being divided or misaligned.

HJJP's curator insight, September 20, 10:40 PM

Considering that for most of us, trust and confidence in our leaders are identified as the most important attributes we want them to have, stands to reason that integrity, the element which inspires said trust and confidence in someone, would be the central ingredient of great leadership.

Or is it?

Can we stand here and say for sure that all great leaders are or were people of great integrity? Or is it the appearance of integrity that matters? Or maybe it does not matter at all, and it is your ability to set up smoke and mirrors that make you someone people would follow? or is it your ability to inspire fear?

So, the most important aspect is how do we define GREAT LEADERHSIP? Is it based on results? Is it based on getting people to follow them blindly?

Was Genghis Khan a great leader? Julius Cesar? Francisco Franco? Hitler? JFK? GW Bush? Clinton?

Would be interested in hearing what people have to say about this subject.

Ivon Prefontaine's curator insight, September 26, 10:13 AM

Integrity is important. It has multiple meanings beginning with honesty and authenticity. It also has to do with being part of the greater whole. Too often, I found School managers were just that managers and operated as observers. It allowed them to hang on to the idea of cause and effect without thinking of the bigger picture as complex with considerable uncertainty.

How to be a successful freelance virtual Instructional Designer (part 1) | Business in the Digital Era | Scoop.it

Being a successful freelance virtual instructional designer is not just setting up your home office. Get these valuable insights to be an ID in demand!

Many of us are now embracing the virtual lifestyle in our careers. And we’re finding there are great benefits. Without a long commute, we find more time for a better work-life balance, so we can spend more time with friends and family and explore our hobbies. We also put less wear and tear on cars, while doing a small part to protect the environment.

That said, being a successful freelance virtual instructional designer is not as easy as setting up a computer in your home office. I have worked as an instructional designer (ID) both in an in-house office environment and as a freelancer working virtually. I have also interviewed and managed many virtual ID freelancers in my role at SweetRush. I have lived through and understand all too well the differences in the two environments, and how being a successful freelancer takes a special mindset. In-house, you are an employee; to be a successful freelancer, you need an entrepreneurial mindset (or at least demonstrate some entrepreneurial behaviors).

In this two-part series, I will share insights on what I look for when interviewing potential IDs for our engagements and some tips that kept me consistently busy when I was a freelancer—even during some lean years when it was challenging, and so many of my peers struggled to find work. Here in part 1, I’ll cover landing projects, and part 2 will focus on behaviors to exhibit once you get assigned to a project team.

Why Millennials Want To Work For Themselves

Why Millennials Want To Work For Themselves | Business in the Digital Era | Scoop.it

Or do they? Millennials want to work on their own terms--without a bad boss micromanaging their every move.

In the 15 years I’ve been teaching MBA students, their career plans have changed dramatically. Until the early 2000s they aspired to work in traditional corporate jobs for companies like Deloitte, JPMorgan, and GE. After that, the top destinations became tech giants such as Apple, Google, and Facebook.

In the past few years; however, a new favorite career choice has emerged, which eclipses any other form of traditional employment--working for themselves or launching their own business.
