The key to good classroom management has and always will be the "two eyes, two feet" technique. You have to be mobile and walk around the room. Off-task Behaviour occurs when teachers disengage.

The controversy over smart phones in the classroom is a big debate. There are pros and cons of each decision. That being said, technology is here to stay and will continue to grow. I think we should embrace it, and set some policies and procedures for use in the classroom. Just keep the ringer off please!
