If your business has a healthy marketing budget and people who can relentlessly do the work than yes you can make some headway, but the truth is it takes time and patience to see a positive ROI.


As you can see in the above chart the more you spend the more clicks you get, sound familiar?  The post has some sobering insights and I encourage all small businesses to read it, but remember to bring your skeptics hat.

It's hard to keep up with all the data pouring in on a daily basis and understanding it poses a whole other set of problems. But these recent numbers are easy to understand.


At least in the short run teens are losing interest in FB and other social media properties as well. Small businesses need to take note of this and adjust their long term marketing strategy accordingly.
