For small businesses there seems to never be enough time to get everything done and now that the web has become the primary avenue for marketing and promotion it only makes sense to try and multitask even more than before.


Well small business owner you may be in for a rude surprise. Multitasking for the most past does not work and it may even set your task completion rate backwards, oh and did I mention it might hurt your brain?


The easiest thing I do to help me keep my focus is turning off all sounds and alerts on the my computer, tablet and phone. I can look at them when I either have finished my current project or when I take a scheduled break.
