SEO is much easier to understand once you know what it is the search engines are looking for. SEO is simply a means of communicating to the search engines.

You can't have a conversation about your website without talking about content Relevance and Authority.


If you're a plumber you'd think you could just say "I'm a plumber" and here's my certification and license, hire me. That's clearly not enough for your potential customers. You need to talk about their needs and at the same time convince the search engines you know what you are talking about.


So what's the key? Well, one key is to put yourself into your website and social pages, talk about how you approach your products and services, talk about how what you offer gets you excited. Be yourself and let both people and the search engines see that.
