JC Penney is working hard to get back the customers they lost over the last two years of trying to force them to like the "new" JCP. First step in turning this around is a sincere mea culpa and taking time to listen. This is what they are doing throguh their Social Media platforms. Great start and I hope they keep it up. #Marketing @JCPenney #JCPlistens

You are a Great Leader.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a great leader. He found ways to take incredible challenges and press on toward his dream. You are a great leader also. What you need to do is take your dream, and let it drive you past the Roadblocks, Obstacles and Challenges you face every day.

The fact is, we are all leaders to somebody. Some of us have a more visible leadership role that is under the microscope all the time. The pressure of being the final decision maker often leads to isolation and burn out. But we believe you are the leader for a reason, and in the role you are today because you have a purpose that only YOU can fulfill.

Robert Hunt's insight:

I will be leading forums with Renaissance Executive Forum Dallas, and this is the first blog we put out. It gives a great insight into our passion and desire to reach the leaders of Dallas.  Let me know what you think.

Will you be HAPPY with your results in three years?

Will you be HAPPY with your results in three years? | Small Business Marketing Insights | Scoop.it

Have you heard about the book entitled The Dan Sullivan Question? It's based on this simple question that every great leader should consider:

“If we were having this discussion 3 years from today, and you were looking back over those 3 years, what has to have happened in your life both personally and professionally, for you to feel happy with your progress?”

Robert Hunt's insight:

You will NOT hit your goals three years from now if you don’t give yourself the tools to succeed. We all need from others who sharpen us (“Iron Sharpens Iron”) and challenges us to be the great leaders we were created to be.  Top Executives need a system that enables them to act on their  ideas and make things happen.
