I personally use most of these. The article talks about having a book with you at all times to read when waiting for something to happen. I used to put all articles and trade publications in a file and kept that in my car. I would read that when waiting for my appointments to show up. It was nice to get them off my desk, get them read, then get rid of them all together!

It's like they don't want to miss out on business or a sale so they just keep going reaching and grasping for something that will sell.
Back off, take a deep breath. Figure out what you say if you only have 30 seconds. Forget about the sales aspect, just flush that from your head! If you can tell someone what you do in 30 seconds with confidence then you truly UNDERSTAND what you have to offer.
