15 is a lot to hold in mind at one time. I suggest leaders focus on 4 key areas: Manage Themselves; Manage Relationships; Manage the Team; Manage the Business.
Each of the 15 will fit into one of these areas.
I hold no. 1 for very important. Often leaders are not able to give others the right feeling to speak up. Encouraging others, especially those who feel insecure about themselves, has to get our primary focus. Finding the right tone and sensitivity is very important. Leaders who show no empathy for others do not deserve to be titled a leader.

Yahoo’s Marissa Mayer unleashed a firestorm of commentary throughout the business world with her recent announcement that remote working was off the table for the tech company’s staffers, who will now be expected to show up in the office every day.

Being present isn't the same as being productive!
What I see different is this:John feels everyone should have a growth plan. He believes you need to discover your strengths and grow them through a daily plan. "Don't take the time to focus on your weak areas, because all you will do is get to average," he warns. "And people don't pay for average." ► Overcoming our weaknesses is key nowadays ... in the spiritual age!► Only when we overcome our weaknesses we become true human beings and are able to lead best.
I agree with others who've commented on this; while you need to overcome weakness, sometimes that just adds up to normal. Be extraordinary, if you possibly can. Be astonishing. Focus on what makes you that - and sharpen it to a razor edge.
