Museum.si is a web portal that represents museums and galleries in Slovenia. Detailed information on collections, exhibitions and events in Slovenian museums and galleries is offered for more than 50 cultural institutions. The portal, which has been developed by Slovenian company Sematika d.o.o., enables that the information is updated by museums and galleries, who contribute themselves using the museum's documentation system Galis.
Similarly, Museu.ms portal brings together museums and galleries around the world: in addition to information also referred to the European portal Europeana and linked with social networks.
The Web data are also available in mobile applications for multiple platforms. Users of mobile devices offer mobile Museu.ms in three languages. Advanced users can also check if Slovenian Museums and galleries have been already presented in the mobile applications for iPhone, Windows Phone 7 and Android. ( http://www.museum.si/)
