The concept that sleep "removes molecular detritus" from our brains is almost sensual when you say it out loud.  My wife would tell you, if it's a matter of sleeping-in,  I'm likely to have little detritus left.

This study is outstanding and so informative. Another reason for us to eat more fruits, veggies and berries and less saturated fats. Since toxins are flushed from the brain while we sleep, the more we can help out by eating properly the better.
