Another neurological disorder linked to vaccines as England too finds narcolepsy link with pandemic flu vaccine | SIWTK | Stuff I Want to Know (SIWTK) | Scoop.it
SIWTK's insight:

“The case for a link between a vaccine used during the 2009 H1NI ‘swine flu’ pandemic and a serious sleeping disorder known as narcolepsy was bolstered by a study published yesterday.

Studies in several other countries have found an association between administration of GlaxoSmithKline’s Pandemrix and narcolepsy, a disorder causing excessive daytime sleepiness, which in turn is often accompanied by cataplexy — sudden muscle weakness. Now, in a small study published in the British Medical Journal, researchers have found further evidence of the link in some patients with narcolepsy in the United Kingdom.” Nature News Blog

Narcolepsy is a neurological disorder. A quick search of ingredients of the Pandermrix online reveals known neurotoxicity of at least three of the ingredients:

Can You Eat Your Own Poop?

Can You Eat Your Own Poop? | Stuff I Want to Know (SIWTK) | Scoop.it

Can you eat your own poop? We've all heard of people who claim that drinking your own urine has health benefits (vitamins, etc). Why not poop? Would there by any benefits to eating your own poop? Since it's already been fully processed by our own bodies, how could there be any dangers? Might it even be GOOD for us?

SIWTK's insight:

I was surprised at the answer...

Developmental Fluoride Neurotoxicity: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Developmental Fluoride Neurotoxicity: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis | Stuff I Want to Know (SIWTK) | Scoop.it

Results: The standardized weighted mean difference in IQ score between exposed and reference populations was –0.45 (95% confidence interval: –0.56, –0.35) using a random-effects model. Thus, children in high-fluoride areas had significantly lower IQ scores than those who lived in low-fluoride areas. Subgroup and sensitivity analyses also indicated inverse associations, although the substantial heterogeneity did not appear to decrease.

SIWTK's insight:

Unfortunately, flouride, which is an industrial waste and neurotoxin is still added to the drinking water of millions of Americans.

ScienceShot: What Birds Know About Fractal Geometry - ScienceNOW

ScienceShot: What Birds Know About Fractal Geometry - ScienceNOW | Stuff I Want to Know (SIWTK) | Scoop.it

Birds, do your math: The pattern of feathers on the chest of your potential mate might provide a good sense of his or her overall health and well-being. In a new study, researchers find that a single number that describes the complexity of those configurations, a parameter called the fractal dimension, is linked to whether a bird has a strong immune system or is malnourished. (Fractals, possibly most well-known from pop art posters of the 1970s, are incredibly complex patterns that have the same amount of detail at all levels of scale, from the huge to the microscopic.) When scientists restricted the food of red-legged partridges (Alectoris rufa, inset), the feather patterns (details in main image) on their chests had a lower fractal dimension than those sported by their well-fed colleagues, they report online today in the Proceedings of the Royal Society B. The food-restricted birds, on average, weighed 13% less than their well-fed colleagues and had weaker immune systems, which makes fractal dimension an easily recognizable sign of a potential mate's health and vitality, the researchers contend.

SIWTK's insight:

Interesting finding, as one would predict this would be a general trend. High frequencies (both pressure waves (sound) and Electromagnetic radiation) are often linked to higher complexity fractual geometric patterns, as Dr. Hans Jenny first demonstrated in early experiments.

Bizarre Gravity Waves Take Physicist By Surprise

Bizarre Gravity Waves Take Physicist By Surprise | Stuff I Want to Know (SIWTK) | Scoop.it

"It is generally accepted that the shape of the waves depends on the container shape," said researcher Jean Rajchenbach, a physicist at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in France. "The fact that the pattern shape is here recovered independently of the container shape is surprising, mysterious and stimulating. We have no clear explanation."
