Muse's 'Ultra HD' concert film for cinema release in November 2013

Muse's 'Ultra HD' concert film for cinema release in November 2013 | Show production | Scoop.it

Last month, frontman Matt Bellamy claimed that the band's film of their Rome Olympic Stadium will be 'four times more powerful than HD' and revealed they will share the new film in theatres across the globe.

Muse's forthcoming concert was filmed with 4K cameras. It will be the first concert film ever released in that level of high definition.

Showcase Cinemas report that the film will be in movie theatres from 7 November, 2013. It is also expected to be shown at some IMAX cinemas.

Kevin Metellus's insight:

I Choose this because the Band Muse is using 4K cameras which is the highest of HD out right now and they are going to release their show to theaters so everyone can witness 4K definition but the only downside to it is that normal DVD'S cannot produce the same high  definition

Kanye West’s Anaheim show postponed over ‘production logistics’ | The Cricket | Show production | Scoop.it
Salt Lakers may be missing out on Kanye West’s “Yeezus” tour — but now they can enjoy a bit of schadenfreude about the rap superstar’s tour problems. West’s show Friday in Anaheim’s Honda Center — ...
Kevin Metellus's insight:

This topic was about how Kanye had to postpone his show because of "production logistics". The reason for the delay was because the set up of the stage was complex and the amount of equipment used was a lot which caused the bus to leave later than it was supposed to.

Pros

Kanyes show was amazing because of not only his performance but the special effects as well.

Cons

Kanye had a mountain as part of his set that shows that theres alot to set up so the timing of everything shouldve been better

Kesha concert banned in Malaysia

Kesha concert banned in Malaysia | Show production | Scoop.it
Authorities in Malaysia ban a planned concert by US pop star Kesha, saying it would hurt cultural and religious sensitivities.

Via @NewDayStarts
Kevin Metellus's insight:

This was about how Kesha wasnt allowed to perform her show beause the Muslim country has strict rules for female performers, who must cover up from the top of the chest to the knee. Kesha was willing to make changes but the government felt as if she would be corrupting the youth.

Im adding this to my topic because i wanted to show how government beliefs can affect the entertainment industry.
