Good Samaritan in the right place at the right time... two days in a row! | It's Show Prep for Radio | Scoop.it
Rescued a man from a submerged car Wednesday, two from a plane Thursday...

TOPIC:  First one is easy "hero stories."  Also look for "movie moments."  Guy that pulled someone from car right before it blew up, the fight in the bar where the guy gets hit over the head with a bottle and then he's slid down the entire length of bar, jumping off fire escape and into garbage bin...you get the idea.

God Loves Me, Loves Me Not

God Loves Me, Loves Me Not | It's Show Prep for Radio | Scoop.it
What fascinates me most about us is how rapidly we change our opinion about what God thinks about us depending on the one event or one week. We can go from thinking that God loves us to God has it in for us in a couple of hours.

We can go from thinking that we are blessed to the conviction that God ignores us in one moment. Maybe we could at least try to get a broader picture and consider the whole events of a year or two years.

It is a journey, an adventure, and without ups, downs, mysteries, challenges, surprises and joys it would not be nearly as much fun.

Gym Bans Skinny People

"Many of our clients have not had successful fitness pasts so I can see the anxiety before we get started and I can see the relief and happiness after we finish," she said. "People are often too fearful to become active. There wasn't a model that offered camaraderie. I used to walk into fitness classes where nobody would even say 'Hi.' This has got to be fun or it's not going to work."

And, Body Exchange client Lisa Schaffer said she loves that there aren't "tiny little Lululemon people running around" the gym.
