This school is going through a pilot program to text and see if cell phones in school is a good idea, and so far it is.  They use them if needed during class and in the cafeteria.  They are not allowed during tests so there can be no cheating

Both school systems say there are rules for where cell phones can and cannot be used, as well as times - like testing - when they must be turned off, but these educators are ready to use these tools - right at our fingertips - to take students to new heights.

This school things it should be allowed for safety purposes. Say something bad would happen. The we would all be allowed to cell home to our parents and tell them what's going on.

Alaska bans cell phones in school zones.  If they won't allow it in school zones they deffenatly won't allow it inside schools.  They think it is distracting.

This district also doesn't allow cell phones in  school zones because they do not want anything bad to happen to students walking home and a careless driver hits them because they are on their phone.
