O exemplo que vos trago hoje faz-nos recuar no tempo… Nos anos 90, a agência Lowe & Partners lançou uma campanha que ficou marcada como sendo das mais brilhantes da marca Coca-Cola Light. O anúncio era claramente dirigido ao público feminino, no qual, pela primeira vez na publicidade, a figura masculina era exibida como um objecto de desejo carnal e a sensualidade das mulheres como algo natural. No spot podíamos ver um sensual construtor que aproveitava a sua pausa laboral para refrescar-se com uma Coca-Cola Light, enquanto um grupo de “curiosas” observavam e suspiravam…

We’ve seen girls in skimpy outfits modeling for cars, sexy starlets promoting anything from perfume to apparel to even burgers. Just when we thought that such means of provocative advertising can no longer surprise us, some marketing geniuses from Poland gave us the kiss of death with their calendar featuring voluptuous beauties posing with coffins.

The layman’s belief that sex sells has evidently been disproven in a new  study by Adobe and Edelman Berland, which has found that consumers believe funny  advertising content is more effective than the overtly sexy or raunchy.

The report also supported recent independent findings elsewhere that online  adverts are viewed as “annoying, distracting and invasive”.

Just yesterday, Oppo confirmed the existence of the N1, the company’s new flagship, and today the company posted one more image teasing that the device might have some form of a touch panel on its back.
With an almost erotic image showing the exposed back of a woman, Oppo teased: “Don’t just touch the front, the back is also interesting…” Cheesy! Right beneath that line the N1 name appears once again and Oppo mentions a “rear touch panel” and “brand new experience.”

A new ad for Chinese smartphone company Oppo has released an ad touting the fact their new phone has a touch screen on the back as well as the front. To convey this point, the brand took the easy route and chose to make an analogy between the back of the phone and a lady's back.
