Taking inspiration from Guy I created a Twitter and Social Media test for the Memorial Day Weekend. The test had simple goals:
* Increase @ScentTrail Twitter Followers to 1,800 or more
* Increase traffic to ScentTrail Marketing blog
Strategy was to test the Guy Kawasaki "Twitter as business tool not social or game, so tweet early and often" idea AND stay as close to real time feedback loops as possible. Tools included Twitter, Scoop.it, Facebook, Google+ and ScentTrail Marketing (my personal blog). It was too risky to do such a test on our Atlantic BT company properties, so I used my social properties figuring if they crashed and burned I still had a job (lol).
I won't spoil the results except to say ROCK ON Kawasaki Style!
