I agree and also have found that my google + account has helped with my SEO as well. Having set up my account about a year ago and made several comments throughout the network, with use of a good anchor text, my google + keywords were popping up on page one in several different variations. With that, I downloaded the google + app and commented dailiy both with pictures and video. Each time I left a backlink. Stories were picked up and spread. This is a very efficient way to gian rank

For me SEO can never be dead or neglected. SEO has changed in a big way as it used to be 2-3 years ago. Social has become integral part SEO, it can never SEO place when it comes to optimizing your website technically (on-page SEO)

I tend to think that SEO is shifting to SMO. It is more and more obvious through time.

Detailed and substantive recommendations to take advantage of Pinterest for marketing. Great ideas about theme boards that would interest clients and products. Reminders about what we all neglect, which is writing about as well as posting those great images. Delete the scoop?

I often have trouble finding useful, current info about Social Media--particularly about the different categories or tools that fall under the domain of Social Media. Any reliable information detailling how to use specific social media apps/widgets etc. is most appreciated! Delete the scoop?

Some announcements from Google's Matt Cutts on the upcoming changes to Google and how it can help you and your business. The good news is that the trend of favoring quality content is stronger than ever. The even better news comes in the form of authority sites. Google is going to be working on coming up with tools to favor people who are running sites that are an authority on some topic - whatever field it may be in. "The take-away: If you aren’t already providing a lot of high quality content in your area of expertise, now is the time to start."

I like to think I'm a purveyor of quality but I hope those geeks with Google Glasses in Silicon valley agree with me or I'm a Yahoo.
