7. If a child with special needs start physical therapy as soon as they are diagnosed, or at a young age they have a better chance of reaching their developmental milestones. Children will also have a better chance of living a normal life style, and being more involved in school sports teams. For older people physical therapy may allow the person to become more independent at home and may help with interaction between others.

6. Therapy held dance classes is a great way for special needs teens to get exercise. it is a great way for them to get active it and find their inner personalities. It also allows them to interact with kids just like them and find new friends. Who wouldn't want to get fit, and have fun with friends?

4. A child with special needs, reaching their milestones is one of the main goals of a pediatric physical therapist. It becomes a "team effort" between the child, parents, and physical therapist. Many developmental changes occur in the first year of a child's life. Every child deserves an equal chance no matter the challenges or differences.

8. Crawling, walking, and the use of arms and legs are all major parts of pediatric physical therapy. Pulling through is a major developmental skill that is worked on. Anything that a child should normally be able to so but cant is a reason for a child to attend physical therapy. The sky is the limit for a child and they can do whatever they want as long as they put the effort in, not matter the different chromosomes.

1.Physical therapy is not just something that is used for someone that is in pain, it can be used to help restore functions that are used in our daily life. Some kids do not develop at the same rate as other kids so physical therapy can be used to get them to the developmental stages that should be at. Examples include rolling, crawling, walking, and the turning of the head.

2. A pediatrics main focus is helping kids with developing gross motor skills and being able to preform them on their own, including running, jumping, and climbing. They can also help kids to prevent an injury form either starting or becoming worse. Developmental activities, therapeutic exercise, and mobility training are just a few of the things that could go on in physical therapy to help a child
