The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society has a total of 15 nursing homes in Kansas.  Sadly 7 of the 15 are rated below average. This is a relatively wealthy charity.  They receive approximately $20 Million in donations and grants/year, pay their executives handsomely, then skimp on their 'mission', nursing home care.
