The Belize Wildlife Referral Clinic has done quite a few surgeries over the years.  They did an ovariectomy on a turtle the other day, and Daniel Velazquez was there to record the event.  Thanks, BWRC, for saving so many animals!

 

In related news, they are gearing up for this year's Wild Spring Break, where vet students study abroad in Belize, and get some wildlife medicine experience.
