When it comes to ranking on the web the game has changed! Find out why?
Daniel Imbellino's insight:

If you want to rank in organic search your main focus should be on your content and those who interact with that content! As this article outlines, years ago you could rank based purely on keywords, site optimization techniques, etc, but this no longer appears to be the case. So content should be step number one for this very reason!

Among the factors outlines in the article are, gaging the value of your content to user through the use of social metrics and building a social media presence (this means figuring out what users like or dislike about your content), getting others to link back to your content because they love it, creating internal links between your content on your site (adds value to users), and being proactive in social media. Read the article to find out more.

A list of the do's and dont's of web publishing! If you want to rank in organic search, these rules apply to you!
Daniel Imbellino's insight:

Despite Google repeatedly telling web publishers to stop loading their sites down with ads, especially popups, as well reminding us all to place our content "above the fold", it doesn't appear people are listening. What difference does it make for everyone to be talking about Panda 2.0 when they clearly don't follow the rules anyway.
