This month, I’m going to discuss content marketing strategy as it relates to search engine optimization. A lot of businesses get this wrong by focusing too tightly on the sales parts of the marketing funnel.

<italic>SEO--"There are changes in the wind".  My initial focus is on the less spendy Organic side of serach(PPC is always an option) . In light of that, Tom hits home at the heading on "With SEO, you need Authority". With the changes that Google Hummingbird rolled out recently, and its' effect on SEO/Keyword strategies, the focus is shifting (largly due to the trending/over 50% Mobile Search)  towards content relevance and authority. Basically, People will have to find you quickly, maybe in route, and find get the information they're looking for.  It just makes sense that if you deliver and engage them they will come back. Just think of any RSS feeds your subscribe to, or opt ins you've made to get an Inspiring quote of the day.
