The consensus was that social applications and experiences don't work on the actual television set, despite their prevalence on smart TVs. I agree (and I wrote about it) with second screen becoming first screen, with the need of new storytelling to improve social tv, and with Netflix and Amazon evolution. I found very interesting VRM, but coming to Get Glue + Viggle I don't give many chances to them (numbers are small compared to Twitter and Facebook) if a big player will not acquire them. Maybe we need a real Amazon customized personal tv guide manager to follow and discover tons of contents available. Then I would add YouTube that, potentially (thanks to Google ecosystem), with the new remote control feature can become a extremely big player.
