Um estudo internacional liderado pela Universidade Cornell (EUA) sugere que é possível saber o que uma pessoa está pensando através da análise de imagens de seu cérebro. Segundo o neurocientista Nathan Spreng, principal autor do estudo, os modelos mentais que temos das pessoas produzem padrões únicos de ativação cerebral, que podem ser detectados a partir de técnicas avançadas de imagem. “Quando olhamos para os nossos dados, ficamos chocados por termos conseguido decodificar em quem nossos participantes estavam pensando com base em sua atividade cerebral”, disse Spreng.
