The job of the humanities academic has always been to absorb large amounts of content, evaluate it, synthesize it, and portray the results in a way that will be relevant and engaging to an audience.

Allan Johnson is a curator with a very specific method on discovering and sharing content with his audience.
I'm also a fan of the "whole person" style of tweeting that Allan mentions in this post. This method consists of 30% personal "chatter" and 70% curated academic content. Sharing relevant content with your audience is great, but keeping it human is also extremely important too.
The workflow described here by Allan is great. He doesn't spent too much time on finding and distributing content, but still makes sure that everything he shares is relevant and value-adding.
My method is similar to his - with the addition of Scoop.it to host all of my shared content in a central HUB. (shameless plug).
What do you do to discover and share the most relevant thought-leadership content with your social media audience?
