Le projet SOHA | (science ouverte haïti afrique) | Science ouverte - Open science | Scoop.it

Ses objectifs sont les suivants :
- Comprendre les obstacles à l’adoption de la science ouverte par les étudiantes et étudiants de 2e et de 3e cycles de ces universités dans différentes disciplines
- Appuyer la création d’outils locaux de formation à la science ouverte par le biais de ressources éducatives libres
- Tester la faisabilité de dépôts institutionnels et de boutiques de sciences dans ces universités
- Créer et animer le RISOHA, Réseau interdisciplinaire d’information et d’échanges sur la science ouverte en Haïti et en Afrique francophone
- Publier une feuille de route en vue de l’adoption généralisée de la science ouverte dans les universités de ces pays.

 "La science ouverte comme outil collectif de développement du pouvoir d’agir et de la justice cognitive en Haïti et en Afrique francophone : vers une feuille de route", projet de recherche-action, né de rencontres au sein de l’Association science et bien commun, oeuvrera de janvier 2015 à décembre 2016 pour le développement de la science ouverte en Afrique francophone et Haïti.

The development of Open Access in Africa has been discussed for a long time. The accompanying discussion followed two main directions: OA as a way for scientists from the continent and their research results to break into the scientific mainstream; and OA as a social and economic development factor, based on the assumption that free access to scientific output can act as an important stimulus.

Close to thirty African institutions receive certificates at Berlin10 Open Access Conference | News | Science ouverte - Open science | Scoop.it

The Berlin10 Open Access Conference drew to a close on Thursday (8 November) when certificates were handed to 28 African institutions that had signed the Berlin Declaration.

No less than 28 African institutions have since 2010 signed the Berlin Declaration. Signatories were handed certificates at the Berlin10

By signing the Declaration, signatories commit themselves to promoting and following the principles of the open access movement.
