At the time it must have been a frightening idea, and probably still is, but somehow i find it funny and childish even. It reminds me of when i was kid playing with a magnifying glass to make -sometimes intricate- designs in a piece of wood, or when i had a bad day frying ant colonies (apologies ants!).
