I like this idea of sharing a variety of texts with the teachers so they know what is available in the library. Delete the scoop?

Educational apps are popping up daily, but the question for parents is, how to know which ones are worth using, and which ones are not? Because let's face it, the app industry is out to make money, and many times app developers are very astute at making an app that "looks" educational, but in reality is just full of ads and sneaky ways of getting your children to buy something.
This article lists 46 different websites that review apps for teachers and students. This should help cut through the clutter and help pinpoint the useful from the fluff. Delete the scoop?

Just for kids? Maybe not. We all have a story to share. Who is building the platform where we can upload stories from all these apps?

As was rightly commented in the post, while the educational technology has changed and evolved, the practice thereof has not, at least progressed likewise, That should now be the focus - the learning design and gteaching practice, rather than solely the technology.
Short Article about technology trends...
How true I have a three year old son who is almost as good on the computer as I am. He can pick the sites he wants from a picture and use the mouse and the pad on my lap top. It is amazing. I'm glad as things change so should the way we educate.
