The Homework Guru: Three Card Match - Study for Test

I've worked with so many students that used this one powerful game to memorize lots of detailed information fast. This is a "memory" strategy for those times when that's exactly what we need to do: Remember. It's wonderful for foreign language vocabulary, the periodic table, remembering constellations, math facts, etc.

We can take the flash card concept to another level when working with vocabulary and other concepts by adding definitions or descriptors to our terms as well as adding visuals and then making it a game! ~Susan Gingras Fitzell

Engage Me! Web Tools for Elementary Classrooms

Engage Me! Web Tools for Elementary Classrooms | School Smarts | Scoop.it

This site has excellent software options for teachers and students that make learning fun as well as meaningful. Although titled for Elementary teachers, as a former High School teacher, I can verfiy that many of these programs can be used at the secondary level. Enjoy!

The site states: Beth Fair, Vicky Romagnoli, and Sarah Kinzel are all Technology Integration Teachers for the East Penn School District. Our goal is to help the classroom teachers integrate technology into their classrooms to transition them to 21st Century classrooms.
