At the same time we need an honest and inventive method of dealing with differences. The global movement for economic justice relies considerably on policy analysis and research conducted by hundreds if not thousands of academics researchers and scholars. ?Our consequences of the changing power relations in today's world is that there is more room in the public sphere for the affirmation of collective values and principles, experience proves that an informed public opinion can be powerful today, and can change governments public and international agendas. Again Churches are challenged to make use of this opportunity. They need to read the signs of time and to make their voices heard by responding to peoples cries for justice and dignity, and by speaking truth to the powers- whoever and wherever their may be. ?Christians do not have ready made answers and solutions to propose. The Bible offers guidelines (love, sharing, justice for the poor) but does not defined one "Christian" economy or "Christian" politics. ?Churches and Church related organizations can initiate public debates and largely use media means to reach a broader constituency, furthermore, regional thematic discussions can be facilitated with the ecumenical family. WCC should develop specific analysis depending on the context. ?What are theological implications for commodification common goods? ?How shall we ensure the participation all people in managing common goods in the world? ?How do we deal with power imbalances in the world? ?How can the ecumenical family engage itself effectively and in a coherent and convincing way in addressing global power imbalance? ?How can WCC lead a climate change campaign with social justice as a focus? ?What kind of collective values can be draw for the Churches to guide them in addressing the problem of commodification of common goods? ?The above questions have been answered in our research materials available at http://www.goldenduas.com and alsohttp://www.facebook.com/research of international development solutions and the same are to be discussed by the Churches, public and all its organizations in the interest of public safety, peace, unity, health, wealth, faith, interfaith ?                 Under this circumstances, it is just and necessary that UK, USA, Cambridge, Churches on the International Affairs are requested to accept our research paper and also our research organization as an organization under other faith category to assist the commission to achieve its goal of International Peace and climate changes solutions for the benefit of world community especially Christians, Jewish and Muslims, under the by-law 3.11 of CCIA. In view of the aforementioned submissions in the interest of maintenance of International Peace and Security, UN may be pleased to authorize our organization in the name and style of` Research on International Development Solutions `and also our research report in confirmatory with U/A 96 of the present Charter read with U/A 23 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and thus render Justice.  Now, Palestine Muslims are fighting with Israel , both countries are affected and innocent people are killed frequently which is against the Quranic verses 7:137 & 5:33 that no one can claim Israel Government areas which is a place of Israel People but not Muslim or Christian and they can only Allow worship in the Holy Places of Israel . 1. Greet students: Always stand at the the door when students enter the room. Say “hi”, say their names, ask how their soccer game went, give high-fives, etc. Make them feel welcome!


2. Establish classroom norms: Norms should be posted on the wall for all students to see. Norms should be short and sweet - perhaps keep the list to 3! Two examples of “norms” in my classroom: 



“One Mic”: When a classmate raises his or her hand and are called on, they have the mic. Everyone else should be respectful, quiet, and listening.


“Don’t Yuck My Yum”: When a classmate shares an answer or an idea that might be wrong or that you may disagree with, keep any rude thoughts to yourself. Don’t make others feel bad for sharing their ideas with the class.






3. Organization: Keep your classroom organized! Color coding and labels are great ways to keep materials in their designated locations. Make sure all students know where all supplies are located, where to turn papers in, etc.


4. Positive reinforcement: When students are working hard, demonstrating teamwork, or any other positive behavior, recognize it! Let them know that you notice. I use ClassDojo to award students for great behavior. I also use ClassDojo to communicate with parents. I can quickly and easily send parents messages to share awesome moments in the classroom. 


5. Post student work: Any chance you have to put student work up on your walls, do it! Students love looking at each others’ work. They also feel a sense of pride when their work gets posted. Additionally, if students know you might put their work on the walls they will put much more effort into the project because they will want to impress their peers.


6. Always keep your cool: If students are frustrating you or being disrespectful, take a moment to collect yourself and take a deep breath before responding to their behavior. Remember, you’re the adult in this situation.


7. Keep moving: Always be moving around the classroom. Even if students should be looking at the front of the room, you do not have to be standing up there. Walk while you talk. Students might need help but are too shy to ask for it. If you continue to circulate the room you can spot which students might need a little more guidance.


8. Be a role model: Practice patience and kindness. You might be one of the few positive role models in your students’ lives.


9. Relate to students: Allow your students to get to know you. When they share experiences with you, share back. When they feel like they can relate to you they feel more comfortable in your classroom.


10. Take time to laugh: You don’t have to be on topic 100% of the time. Make time to tell funny stories, jokes, and take school a little less seriously every once in a while.  :D


11. Be consistent with consequences: Students should be aware of the consequences for certain behaviors at the beginning of the school year. Be consistent. Although no one likes to be punished, students will feel safer in your classroom if they know you will always give consequences for certain behaviors.


12. Bring it down to eye level: When students are hard at work and you would like to have a chat with them, kneel down to eye-level. Don’t ask them questions from 4 feet above them. Have a real conversation. Students will feel more important!


13. Creative opportunities: No matter what subject you teach, you need to provide opportunities for students to be creative, whether that be through music, drawing, technology, etc. This will allow you to get to know them more and for them to show off their talents!


14. Admit when you’re unsure: No one knows everything, so be honest about it! If your students ask you a question that you’re unsure of, tell them! After I say “I’m not sure”, I always pull out my phone and ask Siri for the answer — students LOVE it.

At the Japanese auto giant, unplanned, agenda-free meetings are ubiquitous and indispensable.

 

None of the conference rooms were available, so the meeting was held in a maintenance closet...


Shoehorned into the room were factory floor managers, assembly line associates ...and quality control experts at the Anna, Ohio, engine plant, where Honda has been making motors and drivetrain components since 1985. 

 

...All points of view or suggestions are equal.  A serious crisis on the plant floor spurred [a} spontaneous meeting. 


Such unplanned, shapeless gatherings are the hallmark of the Honda Way. They are called waigaya, ...a name given them by Takeo Fujisawa, the business partner of company founder Soichiro Honda...

 

On that day…, away from the thrum of the factory, …a Honda manager said to the others, “Look, I’d prefer not to belabor this issue because we’ve got a lot of work to do to get this process moving. And since the fix will be such a time sink, let’s not make it worse by losing more time discussing it.”

    

Although most in the room concurred with the manager, one of the associates noted… “We’re doing something very wrong if a slight problem in the engine isn’t addressed until the end of the vehicle’s assembly line…   We should have discovered this problem before.”

their Fundamental Beliefs of:

  • Respect for the Individual
  • The Three Joys:   The Joy of Buying, Selling, and Creating
    

Management Policy includes:

  • Proceed always with ambition and youthfulness.
  • Enjoy your work and encourage open communication.
  • Strive constantly for a harmonious flow of work.


The example of the meeting in a broom closet illustrates a less hierarchical approach. Hierarchy has advantages, but is also not as necessarily in Honda's fluid approach.  What do you find useful in the Honda example?  `  Deb

No, ScratchJr is not the iPad version of Scratch.  They are actually quite different when you examine the programming potential of each. ScratchJr would be more aptly characterized as “ScratchLite” or “SimpleScratch.” I have seen Scratch used by all ages of children in school, from K to 12, and very successfully.  Programs in Scratch can be incredibly simple or incredibly complex.  ScratchJr is only capable of fairly simple programs, and primarily narrative animations. However, ScratchJr works on the iPad! That’s great news for many classroom teachers and students alike. Scratch does not work on the iPad; it’s a web 2.0 tool that runs in your browser using Flash player.

Diana Petschauer, M.Ed., ATP is a RESNA certified Assistive Technology Professional and Founder/ CEO of Assistive Technology for Education, LLC. and Access4Employment LLC. Diana is an accessibility specialist and certified ATP who provides AT assessment, training & consultation for students to access education and for adults to access employment, home and the community. Diana manages the AT consultants and trainers who work for ATE and A4E.  Previously Diana was the AT Specialist at the University of New Hampshire. She presents/trains locally & nationally, including at larger conferences such as ATIA, CSUN, Closing the Gap, & OTAP.

If students are stressed out, the information cannot get in.


The factors that have been found to affect this comfort level such as self-confidence, trust and positive feelings for teachers, and supportive classroom and school communities are directly related to the state of mind compatible with the most successful learning, remembering, and higher-order thinking

Research shows that reading literature helps readers understand characters, their thoughts, motivations, and feelings.

 

Readers also predict what will happen next to characters, and link actions to consequences. These skills translate to the real world, where readers can understand the motivations and feelings of people they interact with, as well as predict what they may do next.

I used novel studies and we explored the interactions, the conflicts between characters i.e. Philip and Timothy in The Cay. Students enjoyed the books and found themselves identifying in various ways with the characters as they matured.

Whether you’re selling a product, pitching an idea, or trying to get employees to do something different or do something in a different way, perspective-taking has become an essential element in moving others.

 

Over the last decade, social scientists like Adam Galinsky of Columbia University have deepened our understanding of perspective-taking. Their work yields three ways leaders can become more effective.

 

1. CHECK YOUR POWER. Galinsky and others have found that when people feel powerful, their perspective-taking abilities degrade. The more powerful we feel, the more we anchor in our own perspective rather than adjusting to another’s. And that can make others less likely to go along. But briefly reducing one’s feelings of power (“Maybe this employee I’m asking to do something needs our company much less than our company needs her.”) can increase the acuity of our perspective-taking, which in turn can make us more effective.

 

2. PERSPECTIVE-TAKING ISN’T TOUCHY-FEELY. Perspective-taking sounds a lot like empathy, but the two qualities are siblings, not identical twins. Empathy — the ability to understand another’s emotional state — is an essential human quality. But research has shown that, in commercial settings such as negotiations, understanding the other side’s thoughts and interests, not simply their emotions and feelings, can be more effective in forging a deal. So if you’re in a high-stakes leadership situation, definitely be emotionally intelligent. But use your head as much as your heart.


3. DON’T FORGET MIMICRY. Mimicking others’ posture, gesture, and expressions sounds like the sleazy tactics of a used car salesman. But ample research has shown that mimicry is a natural part of human behavior, an instinctive way we understand others. You can enhance your attunement skills, and thereby your leadership, simply by being conscious of how the other person is standing, moving, and talking and ever so slightly mirroring what they’re doing.
