I like the way the article describes SAMR as satisfying curiosity, blended learning helps students become good in fault finding which is the core of the electrical trade, since they are constantly going through the SAMR model on every or most of the topic covered in their units of competency

This is one of the oldest forms of "e-learning" and pioneered in Australia. E-learning to me in the broad definition means ANY remote learning experience using technology-based techniques. Surely we can learn from the pedagogy techniques and theories of learning used by the school of the air.

Ok the inteersting part of this is the relevence to Australia.  This site was accessed as part of my initial interest in "School of the Air".

 The author talks about MOOCS and how this will transform Business in the future but is only used by students... I will find out about MOOCS

Interesting to note the technologies proposed to be most popular for 2013. This article brought my attention to a technology that did not prove so popular - virtual worlds, but one I think has lots of potential especially in the clinical education milieu.
